Ileana Alexandra Orlich
Ileana Alexandra Orlich is Professor of Romanian, English and Comparative Literature. She is Head of German, Romanian and Slavic Faculty and Director of the Arizona State University Romanian Studies Program and teaches a variety of culture and literature courses with a comparative and interdisciplinary focus. Her publications include Myth and Modernity in Twentieth-Century Romanian Novel (New York: Columbia U P, 2009) and Articulating Gender, Narrating the Nation: Allegorical Femininity in Romanian Fiction (New York: Columbia U P, 2004).
