Dóra Piroska

Dora Piroska holds a PhD in Political Science from the Central European University. She has been a Lecturer at the Department of Government at the University of Texas at Austin, an Associate Professor at the Corvinus University of Budapest and currently a Visiting Professor at the CEU. She is a political economist with a special interest in the Central and Eastern European region. Recently she has published on the macroprudential turn in bank regulation, the Banking Union’s perception in Eastern member states, the competing crisis management approaches of the Troika, and the impact of EU banking governance on Slovenian democracy.
